Lansdale United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time office administrator.

The office administrator works closely with the pastor and performs a variety of administrative duties. A successful candidate must be able to work independently and take initiative, conduct him or herself with the utmost respect and confidentiality, and be computer and technology savvy. The office administrator prepares the weekly worship bulletin; maintains the church directory; database, and physical membership records; updates the church website calendar; answers the phone and responds to emails; and other duties as requested by the pastor. The office administrator acts as the first point of contact and the face of the church to the community at large, tenants and the congregation.

Office and/or secretarial/administrative experience required; church or religious background or comparable nonprofit experience strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite; knowledge of social media and church management software a plus. 

The position is 20 hours a week during the summer and 30 hours a week starting in September. Wage is negotiable based on experience.
